The EDO-1 Pro Portable Dental Endo Motor with Apex Locator is a modern, cordless endodontic device designed to combine root canal length measurement and canal preparation in one compact unit. This integrated solution improves treatment accuracy, reduces working time, and enhances clinical safety during endodontic procedures.
The device features a collaborative working mode, allowing the endo motor and apex locator to operate simultaneously. When the file enters the root canal, the motor starts rotating automatically, slows down as it approaches the apical area, reverses upon reaching the apex, and stops when exiting the canal. This intelligent interaction significantly reduces the risk of over-instrumentation.
The apex locator mode can also be used independently. By connecting the measuring cable, the clinician can perform accurate root canal length measurement without activating the motor.
The endo motor function offers multiple programmable modes, including forward rotation with auto-reverse, reverse rotation, and optimum torque reverse (reciprocating) mode. With 10 memory settings, users can easily customize parameters for different file systems and clinical protocols.
The EDO-1 Pro is equipped with a 1:1 contra-angle, an intuitive OLED display with Bluetooth connectivity, and a rechargeable and replaceable battery. Charging is possible via a charging base or Micro USB, ensuring flexibility in daily clinical use.
